OUR MISSION
Our mission is to strengthen and empower our North Center community by facilitating opportunities to help others, hosting events that unite our neighbors, and supporting causes that preserve and improve our environment.
We plan to achieve our mission by:
- Promoting neighborliness, cooperation, and goodwill among the members of our community
- Collecting and distributing information that is relevant to the North Center community to keep residents informed
- Working with officials, citizens, and organizations to maintain the safety and beauty of our community, and to ensure the availability of public and private community services
- Encouraging green environmental community practices in order to safeguard the health and well-being of the residents in our neighborhood, as well as the environmental health of our community
- Facilitating community conversation and consensus on important topics and providing a community voice where possible
- Encouraging responsible development that includes diversity in housing and consideration for the environment
- Promoting North Center as a vital and prosperous business community

The North Center Neighborhood Association (NCNA) works to strengthen and empower our community by:
- Creating opportunities to help others
- Hosting events that bring neighbors together
- Supporting causes that preserve and improve our environment
Our success depends on the involvement of North Center residents like you. If you live within the North Center boundaries and are a current NCNA member, we invite you to consider serving on our Board of Directors. Board members serve three-year terms and help guide and implement projects that support NCNA’s mission. The only requirement is your commitment to our community.
